摘要: Imaging of the kidney using blood oxygen level dependent (BOLD) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) presents a major opportunity to examine differences in tissue oxygenation within cortex and medulla applicable human disease. The aim this study was evaluate BOLD signals before after treatment with RAS inhibitors hypertensive chronic disease (CKD) patients. Ten patients stable CKD 5 healthy volunteers were included. Five subjected MRI scan 300 mg/day aliskiren for at least 6 weeks. other received 1 hour acute 50 mg captopril. A group (n=5) scanned 10 had mean age 61±17 years; eGFR 30±11 mL/min per 1.73 m2. Office systolic diastolic pressures when on inhibito, 130±10 86±5 mmHg Control subjects normal function not any medication. In untreated condition, arterial pressure elevated, 145±6 95±4 mmHg, respectively. After aliskiren, decreased all group, 127±3 77±3 mmHg. captopril reduced 125±4 71±8 Tissue intensity signal (T2*) increased from 29±6 34±6 34±9 38±11 addition, T2* ratio between treatment. This remained 1.62±0.1 1.65±0.1, shows first time that change Importantly, volunteers, inhibitor no such effect. Further investigation is required.
