摘要: Comparative psychology emphasizes similarities and differences between levels in both the abilities organization of behavior. Studies species-typical behavior have lagged because insufficient attention to organization-relevant problems behavioral ontogenesis. They also a contemporary emphasis on specialized, molecular dictated by such positivistic doctrines as Pavlovian, Lorenzian, Hullian, Skinnerian. Implications instinctivistic concepts are discussed, especially damping effect they imposed developmental research. As an antidote, logical steps out-lined toward studying "whole organism" comparative psychology. To this end theory is advanced, centered redefinitions "maturation" "experience," designed suggest widened range hypotheses for research, well avoid blind alleys traditional dichotomies...
