摘要: A novel dihydroindole derivative, viz., mersicarpine, incorporating a tetracyclic carbon skeleton, containing seven-membered imine ring, was obtained from Malayan Kopsia species. The structure established by spectroscopic analysis and possible biogenetic pathway leuconolam precursor is presented.
