摘要: Our article considers how ‘industry architectures’ (i.e., the stable but evolving set of rules and roles through which labor is divided within a sector) shape success in international expansion. We argue that industry architectures differ between countries, are not necessarily technologically determined, firms' capabilities their competitive environment, constitute distinct level analysis. develop related theory empirically test its impact with survey firms expanding four CIS countries. find separability similarity across countries robust important predictors results suggest should be added to ‘firm’ ‘country’ as an intermediate analysis helps explain
