摘要: Abstract This paper reviews the unconventional hydrocarbon energy scenario in major consuming economies, including China, United States of America, India and Japan. Even though policies are adopted to promote nuclear renewable sources, they cannot immediately replace conventional resources, hence, resources need be exploited. The strategies exploring availability developments areas shale tight gas, coalbed methane natural gas hydrate discussed. In present scenario, an accelerated effort for exploitation is inevitable
