摘要: Purpose To evaluate the long-term results of stent placement in renal arteries. Patients and Methods From January 1990 to August 1994, 59 hypertensive patients underwent 64 procedures. Indications were residual stenosis after percutaneous transluminal angioplasty 42 patients, restenosis 20 acute dissection two patients. Follow-up (mean, 14 months) was obtained 54 Six-month rates based on arteriography, even more patency duplex ultrasound. Results Technical success achieved all Major complications occurred No minor or puncture-site observed. The overall 6-month rate 1.6% (2.9% for ostial lesions). Survival analysis with Kaplan-Meier method showed primary secondary 92% ± 3.6 98% 1.9, respectively, at 1 year 79% 8.8 6.1, 2 years. Seventy-six percent benefited from procedure. However, function not improved by placement. Conclusion Stent arteries is a useful adjunct atherosclerotic renal-artery stenoses.
