摘要: A familiarity with the basic terminology, techniques, and instruments used in any branch of science is essential for a true understanding subject. Therefore, this chapter aims to provide an introduction number methods concepts specifically related microscopic study tissues, otherwise known as “histology.” Topics introduced, include routine specimen types received general histology laboratory involved their preparation, prior histological examination under microscope by histopathologist. Important techniques be aware that are performed laboratories, such intraoperative frozen section, common research tools today, tissue microarrays, discussed. Microscope types, automated imaging digital software also presented. Finally, normal human cell its internal components summarized, together tissues. Having studied chapter, we anticipate reader will have knowledge necessary terminology mentioned upcoming chapters.
