摘要: Abstract The chemical variation of volatile constituents from leaves Pimenta pseudocaryophyllus collected bimonthly for one year a locality in the Atlantic Rain Forest, southeastern Brazil, was determined by GC/MS. Seven com- pounds were identified and characterized, revealing predominance phenylpropanoids (15.4–70.9%) variable amounts monoterpenes (0.5–5.3%). composition oil changed month month. best yield obtained November, major component chavibetol present all samples (50.2–70.9%). content showed significant seasonal variation, with maximum percentages 69.1% 70.9% measured January respectively
