摘要: As the twenty-first-Century Maritime Silk Road tourism program aims on development of new tourist routes with special interest polar regions Arctic and Antarctic, as well Tibetan Plateau, management climate risks in travels their reduction is an important issue for achievement its goals at national local levels. Acclimatization crucial adventurous tourists, especially those traveling to extremely cold highly elevated environments, when weather destination differ significantly from home. The Thermal Strain Index Tourism (ATSIT) designed used measure numerically physiological expenses a traveler pays during acclimatization process. purpose present study examine consequences Beijing, capital China, destinations Arctic, collectively referred 3Polar regions, main seasons winter summer, back. results show that acclimatizing involves greater strain than adjustment heat. load low all Beijing back ATSIT projections detect most harmful degree discomfort summer Beijing. greatest impact comes changing locales hot humid dry climatic conditions, which might cause high very strain.
