摘要: A total of thirty bacterial strains were isolated from the water and sediment samples Periyar River during premonsoon 2015 for multi-metal resistant study. In this study, isolates challenged against three different concentrations (10, 100 200 mM) copper chromium metal salt solution by using plate diffusion method. Most to minimum concentration both solutions. Nearly, 93.3 % whereas 90.0 solution. mM Cu, 46.7 populations showed growth rates between 71-80%, 3.3 observed with a 51-60 rate. At Cr, 6.7 rate 61-70 was 13.3 at no population growing 0–50 Cr. The results indicated that river received various pollution sources throughout river-line. sensitivity nature solutions varied depend on Hence, needed impoundment maintaining sanitation.
