摘要: In this paper, an attempt has been made to delineate groundwater potential zones in Hingoli district, Maharashtra, India. Remote sensing and traditional data were collected from different sources analysed GIS software prepare thematic maps of geo-environmental factors such as lithology, drainage, lineaments, slope etc. these having impact on availability area, directly or indirectly. All have integrated into multi influence factor method was applied zones. The result shown about 50% area is the good potentiality groundwater, whereas 6% region falls under very low area. Central part study potential, mainly due steep rocky outcrop. southern district because gentle which influences water infiltrate. major towns villages are located prospect areas. Therefore, locations do not experience extreme drought conditions. present work valuable for future planning management resource district.
