摘要: Many diseases as atherosclerosis and metabolic dysfunctions are known to correlate with changes of the lipid profile tissues body fluids. Therefore, importance reliable methods analysis is obvious. Although matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) was so far primarily used for protein analysis, this method has itself proven be very useful in too. This review provides an overview applications MALDI-TOF MS summarizes specific advantages drawbacks modern soft-ionization method. The focus will on fluids cells well diagnostic potential field. It shown that spectra can recorded a short time provide important information fatty acyl composition lipids unknown sample.
