Diagnostic ability of barrett's index to detect dysthyroid optic neuropathy using multidetector computed tomography

摘要: OBJECTIVES: The objective of this study was to evaluate the ability a muscular index (Barrett's Index), calculated with multidetector computed tomography, detect dysthyroid optic neuropathy in patients Graves' orbitopathy. METHODS: Thirty-six orbitopathy were prospectively studied and submitted neuro-ophthalmic evaluation tomography scans orbits. Orbits divided into two groups: those without neuropathy. Barrett's as percentage orbit occupied by muscles. Sensitivity specificity determined for several values.
