摘要: In this chapter I present the state-of-the-art theoretical models for avascular tumor growth which are well established nowadays. focus on able to treat morphologic instabilities and phase segregation, two typical features of skin cancer example melanoma. Contrary experiments made in vitro growing colonies, show that geometry melanoma confined epidermis early stages suppresses necrotic core is responsible inhomogeneities due aggregation cancerous cells. A relatively simple model consisting adaptation two-phase mixture enough explain morphologies not only qualitatively but also quantitatively. Despite complexity nonlinear partial differential equations results from model, analytical treatments based techniques physics W.K.B approximation observed structures dermatology.
