Adrenal P-450scc modulates activity of P-45011 beta in liposomal and mitochondrial membranes. Implication of P-450scc in zone specificity of aldosterone biosynthesis in bovine adrenal.

摘要: Bovine adrenal P-45011 beta catalyzes the 11 beta- and 18-hydroxylation of corticosteroids as well aldosterone synthesis. These activities were found to be modulated by another mitochondrial cytochrome P-450 species, P-450scc. The presence together P-450scc in liposomal membranes was remarkably stimulate beta-hydroxylase activity also cholesterol desmolase stimulative effect on diminished addition protein-free liposomes proteoliposomes containing P-450scc, thus showing interact with same membranes. Kinetic analysis this indicated formation an equimolar complex between had not only stimulated for 11-deoxycorticosterone but suppressed production 18-hydroxycorticosterone aldosterone. When inner zona fasciculata-reticularis from bovine treated anti-P-450scc IgG, a greater extent than that glomerulosa. This indicates synthesizing interaction zone-specific synthesis may possibly induced differences interactions each zone.
