摘要: Two methods are examined for accurately calculating stress intensity factors in two and three dimensions: the stiffness derivative technique J-integral method. In dimensions is expressed as an area integral, whereas it a volume integral. With both techniques, virtual crack extension introduced. Although expressions employed each method quite different, proven that when written analytically finite element calculation, they reduce to identical expressions.
