摘要: Abstract A variety of measures neuropathology in Alzheimer's disease (AD) correlate with dementia severity. However, the role β-amyloid protein and abnormally phosphorylated tau decline specific cognitive abilities is unknown. ‘Constructional praxis’ (e.g. copying, constructing) believed to require integrity parietal-occipital lobes. Unlike most other tasks, some AD patients are able perform constructional tasks even late course. Thus, it may be an ideal task evaluate relationship between various performance. Fixed brain tissue was obtained from 16 who were cognitively assessed shortly before death. Parietal, frontal, entorhinal, occipital cortices examined by immunocytochemistry for at both early later stages neuropil thread tangle formation. Constructional praxis strongly related early-stage hyperphosphorylation cortex. Praxis ability that not significantly pathology areas non-constructive associated cortex pathology. In contrast, global severity deposition parietal, frontal regions. These findings suggest critical regionally localizable good indices underlying corresponding
