摘要: Patient safety is a global challenge that requires knowledge and skills in multiple areas, including human factors systems engineering. In this chapter, numerous conceptual approaches methods for analyzing, preventing mitigating medical errors are described. Given the complexity of healthcare work processes, we emphasize need increasing partnerships between health sciences engineering to improve patient safety. Those will be able develop implement system redesigns necessary processes
