摘要: PURPOSE To investigate tear film optical quality dynamics by analyzing the postblink temporal changes of objective scatter index (OSI). METHODS A total 109 myopic subjects without symptoms dry eye and 32 diagnosed with disease were recruited in this cross-sectional study. The right for each subject was analyzed. Serial measurements OSI performed 20 seconds interval 0.5 second using a double-pass instrument, 10 successive nonblinking immediately after blink selected to analyze dynamics. breakup time (TBUT) also measured. mean correlation coefficient between RESULTS For eye, eyes divided into two categories based on time: category (without positive correlation) B (with correlation). Categories further four seconds: A1 (36.7%, lower than 1.00); A2 (33.0%, equal or greater B1 (13.8%, 1.00), B2 (16.5%, 1.00). Dry set as C comparison. There no significant difference TBUT among five (A1, A2, B1, B2, C) except (P < 0.01) 0.05). CONCLUSIONS Dynamic blinking showed variations even clinically asymptomatic subjects, proposed procedure serial noninvasive method may have potential applications detecting preclinical phase subjects.
