摘要: Abstract Is coffee food, poison, or medicine? Since the first allusions to medicinal and nutritional properties of about 1000 years ago, coffee's relation health has been debated. In five centuries Western science, brew traditionally present in Materia Medica. It recommended almost as a panacea for number conditions—from spiritual well-being “fevers” plagues, from balance humorous temperaments chronic degenerative diseases typical modern way life. Outstanding scientists have explored its potential benefits health. Following long search role vitality “nutritive combustions,” along with content “animalized” substances, ultimately acknowledged functional protective food. After waves approval restraint, identity related disease historically resignified by science medicine.
