摘要: Abstract Paleopedology is a relatively young science with roots in various older geosciences. At present it suffers from lack of clear definitions and fundamental principles. Nevertheless has considerable potential for applications stratigraphy, paleontology, sedimentology, archeology, paleoclimatology, seismology, geomorphology, soil classification agriculture. Consequently could play major coordinating role science, especially contributing to natural, strongly genetic system classification. We suggest that such system, emphasis on development properties relation current past environmental factors, would be greater value all these subjects than the systems designed principally agricultural interpretation.
