摘要: In the last 5 years, significant progress has been made in understanding structure and function of all major domains composing fibrillins. A previous review [Meth. Enzymol. 245 (1994), 29] focused on isolation fibrillin monomers fibrillin-containing polymers (microfibrils). this article, information gained from recent studies which have further elucidated molecular investigated effects mutations structural functional properties will be summarized. addition, fibrillins may important assembling microfibrils discussed. Throughout review, authors attempted to identify areas research controversial. conclusion, we raise questions remain unresolved.
