摘要: Conventional physical therapy techniques have been shown to improve balance, mobility, and gait following neurological injury. Treatment involves training patients transfer weight onto the impaired limb shift while standing walking. Visual biofeedback force plate systems are often used for treatment of balance mobility disorders. Researchers also exploring use video game consoles such as Nintendo Wii Fit rehabilitation tools. Case studies demonstrated that games may promise rehabilitation. However, initial usability anecdotal evidence suggest current commercial not compatible with controlled, specific exercise required meet goals. Based on focus group data observations patients, a has developed specifically target using an open source engine Balance Board. The prototype underwent testing sample clinicians persons Overall, feedback was positive, areas improvement were identified. This preliminary research provides support development caters key requirements
