摘要: It has become increasingly clear that epigenetic deregulation plays a fundamental role in cancer. Although the understanding of molecular, genetic and transcriptional alterations involved initiation progression uveal melanoma (UM) grown significantly recent years, little attention been paid to changes. In cancer, epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) enables trans-differentiation epithelial tumor cells, endowing them with migratory invasive properties. EMT-inducing transcription factors have shown interact multiple modifiers, thus reflecting reversible nature EMT. Therefore, therapy targeting these interactions may provide promising therapeutic option, especially since no improvement survival patients metastatic UM achieved using traditional approaches. This review summarizes current knowledge regulation EMT emphasizes need for deeper highly dynamic processes. The potential individual members machinery is also addressed.
