摘要: In 2003, the Brazilian government launched Bolsa Familia Program (BFP) to combat severe poverty and inequality. Much literature has explored effects of on human capital related indicators (literacy rates, child labor participation, etc). Demographic focuses whether affects fertility, but this does not address household fertility decisions participants. The purpose my research is assess determinants among BFP population. This study uses cross-sectional data from IGBE’s 2011 National Household Sample Survey. Via use a multiple linear regression methodology it can be predicted that several variables significantly influence beneficiaries. Identification significant allows policymakers focus resources specific individuals alter their rates. Should seek rates (quantity), then, according Beckerian model, they also gain ability change quality (human capital).
