摘要: The remarkable performance of turbo codes for low SNRs in AWGN channels has encouraged the application to systems operating different kind channels. In this paper we consider an IS-95-based CDMA system a multipath Rayleigh fading channel. We replace convolutional encoder by parallel and serial encoding scheme, concatenation outer inner code, instead Viterbi decoder use iterative decoding based on MAP algorithm. perform BER FER comparisons varying parameters such as constraint length component codes, interleaver lengths, wireless channel rate. results obtained show that concatenated schemes outperform more complex scheme even relatively short interleaving especially when is desired figure merit.
