摘要: The wind generated sea state in the real condition is well represented by short crested waves or multidirectional waves. are identified as linear summation of randomly long that propagate to different directions. In this paper, experimental and numerical studies on dynamic responses classic spar platforms subjected presented. study was performed Offshore Laboratory Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. study, model restrained four mooring lines A MATLAB code developed analyze spar. modeled a rigid body with three degrees freedom surge, heave pitch motions. each time step analysis, mass, damping stiffness matrices were computed. Newmark Beta method employed solve equations motion. Response amplitude operators (RAO) estimated compared measurements. results well.
