摘要: The function of the frizzled (fz) locus is required to coordinate cytoskeletons pupal epidermal cells so that a parallel array cuticular hairs and bristles produced. We report here molecular cloning characterization fz locus. very large. Mutations inactivate gene are spread over 100 kb genomic DNA. major mRNA product 4-kb RNA encoded by 5 exons more than 90 Conceptual translation this indicates it encodes an integral membrane protein likely contain both extracellular cytoplasmic domains.
