摘要: Abstract Objectives The objective of this study was to evaluate the treatment outcomes and prognostic factors neoadjuvant concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) followed by surgical resection for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with N2 disease. Materials methods A retrospective review patients disease who underwent CCRT surgery at our institution performed multivariate Cox regression analysis used determine associated survival outcomes. Results From 1997 2013, 574 curative-intent after NSCLC mean age 59 years (444 men, 77%). extent included lobectomy in 418 (73%), pneumonectomy 73 (13%), sleeve 25 (4.3%). Complete obtained 543 (95%). Postoperative complications in-hospital mortality occurred 199 (35%) 21 (3.7%), respectively. Pathologic complete response achieved 72 (13%) 304 (53%) experienced mediastinal clearance. With a follow-up 36 months, median overall (OS) recurrence-free (RFS) were 56 months 18 5-year OS rates 61% ypN0, 49% ypN1, 35% ypN2 (p = 0.001). RFS 45% 23% 17% (p Conclusion Neoadjuvant could be acceptable early postoperative outcomes, satisfactory local control, encouraging long-term survival. Care should taken selecting when necessitating CCRT. Further efforts improve persistent are required.
