摘要: Abstract Nanoparticles of stable CrO2 a half-metallic ferromagnet are synthesized with novel chemical method involving Cr4+–polymer composite precursor. A single phase D 4 h 14 : P 2 / mnm tetragonal crystal structure (lattice parameters a = 0.4250 and c = 0.3190 nm) lies after firing the precursor at 350 °C for 1 in air. Microstructure reveals domain particles thin platelets (aspect ratio ∼1) average 50 nm diameter 35 thickness. In air, unless heating temperatures above 500 °C, no due CrO2 → Cr2O3 transformation encounters. The results presented terms X-ray diffraction thermal or thermogravimetric analysis derived powder.
