摘要: Operations management (OM) and human resources (HRM) historically have been very separate fields. In practice, operations managers resource interact primarily on administrative issues regarding payroll other matters. academia, the two subjects are studied by communities of scholars publishing in disjoint sets journals, drawing mostly disciplinary foundations. Yet, intimately related at a fundamental level. context that often explains or moderates effects activities such as pay, training, communications, staffing. Human responses to OM systems explain variations anomalies would otherwise be treated randomness error variance traditional research models. this paper, we probe interface between examining how considerations affect classical results operational HRM results. We then propose unifying framework for identifying new opportunities intersection
