摘要: The paper presents an effort to build a biologically realistic, age structured Bayesian model for the stock assessment of data poor fisheries where only aggregated catch is available. built using prior information from other areas and ecologically or taxonomically similar species. modeling approach tested with on Cyclades islands in Greek archipelago. two most important species area are selected: bogue ( Boops boops ) picarel Spicara smaris ). Both hermaphroditic. available total 1950 2010. Information was gathered about natural mortality, recruitment, growth, body size, fecundity, sex ratio. There were significant problems finding reliable uniform used fishing mortality. models at their present stage not give management advice. biological characteristics that should be further studied. However, posteriors parameters reflect best knowledge these they could future studies simpler biomass dynamics as priors.
