摘要: Two experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects and interactions of dietary levels corn oil (0 vs 6%) dried whey 25%) on performance young pigs during a 4-wk postweaning period. The first experiment, in five replicates as 2 x factorial randomized block design, evaluated gain feed intakes 172 weaned at 21 d age. Pigs bled weekly intervals, samples assayed for serum triglyceride urea concentrations. In second 36 barrows three used same treatments apparent digestibility absorption fat N retention each week inclusion resulted greater gains reduced feed-to-gain ratios period, with largest relative improvement occurring wk 1. Supplemental did not enhance pig 3 postweaning, but response improved by 4. Feed slightly (P less than .10) lower when was provided. an ratio .01), particularly evident 4 postweaning. Neither nor utilization added initial 2-wk period regardless addition. Apparent digestibilities unaffected interval inclusion.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
