摘要: Abstract Oxidative dehydrogenation of hydrocarbons has been gained much attention for years as the use an oxidant allows overcoming thermodynamic limitations classical reaction. In this paper, catalytic oxidative ethylbenzene in presence nitrobenzene was studied. process various metal catalysts (Fe, Co or V) supported on highly microporous activated carbon (AC) well unloaded AC prepared from waste material were tested. The coupled reaction carried out at 400 °C three hours. At same conditions without also investigated. results tests revealed that obtaining significantly higher yield styrene comparing with non-oxidative conditions. each case, besides aniline formed. Carbonaceous deposit created a by-product. For reason, rapid decrease activity time observed. Unloaded showed fairly good properties. Generally, content active phase AC, worse system noticed. It suggested dispersion particles can play important role process.
