摘要: Research often collapses programming like The Daily Show, Colbert Report, Late and Tonight Show into one category of programming. However, recent research suggests that both the content effects viewing these programs differ. This study separates satire or parody traditional late-night comedy to examine on political participation. Results suggest has positive significant participation through mediator efficacy, as does TV news. this relationship is not borne out for viewers comedy. Implications directions future are discussed.
