摘要: The species Cissus verticillata (L.) Nicolson & C. E. Jarvis subsp. is popularly known as “vegetable insulin” and used in diabetes’ treatment. In this work it was evaluated, at first, the process of crop drying vegetal sample commercial sample’s quality insulin. material collected Ouro Preto, Minas Gearais, excicata stored Jose Badini Herbarium UFOP (OUPR 20570). leaves verticillta have an amount water by 85,52%. oven with forced ventilation, 45°C temperature, efficent, leading to 11.47% humidity 17.99% total ashes. samples “vegetal Insulin” high values mesophilic aerobic load were found. Afterwards, evaluated chromatographic profile which confirmed presence rutin fraction ethyl acetate leaves. antioxidant activity also determination phenolics’ compound DPPH’s methodology. quantification compounds EHA, FD FA was, respectively, 381.0, 52.0 2574.0 mg/mL equivalent tanic acid. methodology DPPH 11.68, 20.24 70.06 EHD, FA, respectively. It determined antifungal aiming new origin that are able auxiliary therapeutics. had CIM 125 ug/mL for krusei, FC xxiv tropicallis. evaluation hipoglycaemic dose 4.5 mg/Kg reduced glycemia 35% 13.5 more reducing 60% 28 days. None assessed doses modified plasmatic levels triglycerides 70%. extract C.verticillata helped healing skin wounds rabbits.
