摘要: The structure of branched lactosaminoglycan isolated from Band 3 glycoprotein adult human erythrocytes was elucidated. glycopeptides were digested by endo-beta-galactosidase under various conditions and oligosaccharides core thus obtained intact analyzed methylation, exoglycosidase digestion, fast atom bombardment mass spectrometry. Based on these experiments, the found to have following unique features: 1) two (as major components) or three minor polylactosaminyl side chains composed (Gal beta 1----4 GlcNAc 1----3) repeating units are attached portion, which is Man alpha 1----6(Man [+/- 1----4]Man 1----4GlcNAc 1----4(Fuc 1----6)GlcNAc----Asn, 2) chain arising mannose C-6 10-12 N-acetyllactosaminyl branches; lactosaminyl C-3 5-6 contains one branches, 3) each branch short Gal 1----6 structure, 4) fucose sialic acid preferentially linked nonreducing terminal regions but not branches in internal portion chain.
