摘要: Tumor lysis syndrome is an oncologic emergency characterized by electrolyte derangements and the frequent development of acute renal failure. We describe a patient with lymphoblastic lymphoma in whom rapid severe tumor developed within 10 h administration single dose corticosteroid. Our case review literature indicate that patients lymphoproliferative malignancies given corticosteroid may be at significant risk for life-threatening syndrome. recommend such receive aggressive laboratory monitoring even setting appropriate prophylaxis.
