摘要: The Eocene interval of the section in Belaya River valley is continuously exposed and represented (from bottom up) by green clays Cherkessk Formation, marl–clayey member Keresta bituminous marls Kuma light intensely bioturbated Glina Formation. There are gradual transitions between formations without signs hiatuses. deposits characterized rich assemblages nannoplankton, planktonic benthic foraminifers (PF, BF), organic-walled phytoplankton. shallower water facies recorded composition benthos mollusks at boundaries formations. data on these groups fossils make it possible to trace an almost complete zonal characterization dinocysts PF compare subdivisions middle–upper early Oligocene both with other reference sections Eastern Peri-Tethys standard zones stages international stratigraphic scale. following distinguished: upper part Formation—nannoplankton (NP15) Acarinina bullbrooki PF zones; (NP15+NP16) Hantkenina “alabamensis” Formation—the nannoplankton (NP16+NP17) zones, (at lower boundary formation) Subbotina turсmenica (above basal part), Areosphaeridium diktyoplokum–Rhombodinium porosum dinocyst zone; (NP18, NP19+NP20, NP21) Turborotalia centralis–Globigerinatheka tropicalis PF zone, Charlesdowniea clathrata angulosa Pshekha (NP21) zone, Globigerina officinalis Phtanoperidinium amoenum zone. These clearly correlate studied detail Ciscaucasia (Kheu, Kuban, Gubs rivers) reconstruct conditions sedimentation.
