摘要: Major trends that are draining people from the Wheatbelt globalisation of economy (and its associated global urban culture) and coastalisation based on lifestyle preferences. A focus towns in partnership with adjacent city is needed to reverse decline. It will require a new quality life attraction similar drawing coast, stronger sense place, greater social diversity. also tapping sustainability obligations through partnerships between bioregion issues biodiversity, bioindustries, water regimes, clear planning contain sprawl coasts. Hope for rejuvenation can be provided example inner areas, which suffered problems decline, reversed them over 30-year period.
