摘要: Percutaneous liver biopsies were performed in 40 adult patients with acute or chronic disease. Real-time sector scan ultrasound of the right upper quadrant was obtained just before biopsy, 1 day after and 10 randomly selected cases 7 days biopsy. Twenty randomized, by sealed envelope, to 6-h 20 24-h postbiopsy bed rest. Nine (23%) had ultrasound-detected hematomas biopsy (7 intrahepatic, 2 subcapsular). Five these been randomized 4 Follow-up at failed reveal any not seen on (n = 6) showed complete partial resolution those that detected previously 4). Significant drops systolic diastolic blood pressure increases pulse rate common findings, unrelated hematoma formation. The results this study indicate intrahepatic subcapsular are percutaneous length rest (6 vs. 24 h) does appear influence frequency complication.
