摘要: The purpose of this study was to examine the expression IGF II mRNA-binding protein (IMP-1, -2, and -3) mRNA in epithelial ovarian tumors, identify association IMP-1, -3 levels with patient survival. IMP were examined by semi-quantitative PCR 59 tumors (8 adenomas, 5 LMP 46 adenocarcinomas) 7 normal ovaries. Results correlated clinicopathological variables overall Human tumor tissue cDNAs included all analyses. family detected almost cancer tissues examined, including breast, lung, colon, prostatic, carcinoma exception pancreatic carcinoma. mean value relative IMP-1 ratio significantly higher both adenoma samples compared (p<0.05). IMP-2 IMP-3 either adenomas or ovary A level observed patients an advanced clinical stage (p=0.015) high histological grade (p=0.023). Log-rank testing showed that overexpression (p=0.0398) (p=0.0050) poor survival, whereas neither nor associated prognoses. In multivariate analysis, lost its significance, (p=0.0432) remained might play important role development progression, is a prognostic marker for cancer.
