摘要: Abstract A new procedure is described for the purification of trophozoites from virulent RH strain Toxoplasma gondii propagated in baby hamster kidney (BHK-21) cell cultures. The culture medium containing host debris and was filtered through glass-wool filtering fiber, which removed most material. filtrate centrifuged, trophozoite pellet resuspended washed phosphate-buffered saline. An average about 75% original number recovered. No loss viability observed as determined by rate monolayer destruction. amount material contamination final fraction negligible measuring radioactivity after cofiltration with noninfected had been prelabeled radioactive precursors.
