摘要: A computer model was written to describe the generation of landfill leachate due large precipitation events. The is described as a multi-layer system, each layer having its own hydraulic characteristics. Given rainfall hyetograph, then translates into hydrograph by using sequence saturated, unsaturated flow equations. During high intensity rainfall, infiltrating water moves under saturated conditions. After cessation infiltrated further downward, influence gravity, flow, until it reaches collection system.
