摘要: This article explores how a lack of access to increasingly complex and overlapping digital communications platforms in times disaster for people with disabilities has the potential make already life-threatening situations considerably more dangerous. As we are coming rely on social media mash-up assist during situations, issue accessibility is as dire if it was high ground tsunami or transport typhoon. The contemporary environment characterised by network complementary platforms, populated user-generated content, where communicate exchange ideas. In this environment, YouTube videos posted Facebook embedded blogs, Twitter used link these other sites itself platforms. These networks supplementing supplanting traditional communication such television radio, particularly disaster. concern paper that elements from which channels made not always accessible disabilities. evolving media-based exposes limits existing Internet-based universal design.
