摘要: The relation between (inter)national programs aiming at nutrient load reduction and changes in eutrophication has been studied for 231 Dutch lakes over the period 1980–1996. Trends total-phosphorus (P) total-nitrogen (N) were negative, as determined by analysis of both individual complete data set. relative trends concentrations well N/P ratio correspond with significantly reduced P emission limited N Netherlands since beginning 1980s. Negative chlorophyll-a positive Secchi-disc transparency may be partly explained concentrations. Perspectives nearby future are discussed. Lake characteristics had only a minor impact on trends. improvement water quality was found all subsets average depth, surface area, hydraulic retention time soil type. Furthermore, effect restoration measures meteorological conditions studied. Biomanipulation resulted an additional several variables compared to that subject reduction. Specific resulting lowered Severe winters lower following summer dry spring favourable summer.
