摘要: Alcaligenes eutrophus mutant strain R3, which is a spontaneous revertant to prototrophy of an isoleucine-auxotrophic the wild-type H16, accumulated copolyester consisting 3-hydroxybutyric acid (3HB) as main constituent and 3-hydroxyvaleric (3HV), i.e. poly(3HB-co-3HV), only other from various single unrelated substrates, were provided in excess, after nutrient essential for growth was depleted medium. Poly(SHB-co-3HV) produced fructose, gluconate, succinate, acetate or lactate during cell starvation nitrogen, sulphur magnesium source. Although 3HV amounted 8 mol% constituents polyester, this study provides general rationale construction utilization mutants poly(3HB)-accumulating bacteria that are altered metabolism branched-chain amino acids production poly(3HB-co-3HV) substrates.
