摘要: A logging tool having a body, which can be positioned in fluid-filled borehole, including receiver section and dipole transmitter; wherein the transmitter includes transducer with shell reaction mass motor located therein, operatively connecting such that only an outer surface of is contact fluid borehole. This new type source for well involves shaking all or part (axially) body to produce pure, broadband acoustic signal while at same time coupling as little energy possible into body. Important variations on this idea include linear phased array shaker sources, active cancellation borne noise.
