摘要: Conventional power distribution system is radial in nature, characterized by a single source feeding network of downstream feeders. Protection scheme for system, primarily consisting fuses and reclosers and, some cases, relays, has traditionally been designed assuming the to be radial. After connecting distributed generation (DG), part may no longer radial, which means coordination might not hold. The effect DG on will depend size, type, placement DG. This paper explores high penetration protective device suggests an adaptive protection as solution problems identified. Results implementation this simulated actual feeder are reported.
