摘要: An encoder having a code scale, an illumination system, and plurality of photodetectors is disclosed. The scale has tracks that are illuminated by the system. Each photodetector receives light from corresponding one generates signal indicative quantity received track. limited to detecting in band wavelengths track track, different next can include alternating reflective absorptive stripes, transmissive or luminescent stripes.
